For comfort : a pool is a pleasure for the whole family...except when the water is cold!
To be able to use the pool longer : why limit yourself to the summer period when a pool heater makes it possible to swim in the spring or autumn... even all year around!
A common mistake : A luxury? Not exactly = today we have economic solutions making it possible to heat your pool for only 1€ per day. The luxury...is not heating your pool and only being able to use it one month in the year!
What is the principle?
Heating a pool means bringing energy to the pool water. A pool receives energy (from the sun) but this is often insufficient to compensate energy losses (especially through evaporation, convection or reverberation) Adding heating therefore makes it possible to maintain a hot water temperature on demand!
How to choose a heating appliance?
There are many solutions for pool heating.
The first step in choosing an appliance is to carry out a thermal study: carried out by a professional, the study is used to take into account all the pool parameters (volume, geographical zone, exposure to winds, exposure to sunlight, equipment...) in order to be able to calculate the need for extra calories and therefore "size" the right product.
Depending on the results of the thermal study several solutions can be available.
The enthusiasm for "home" Heat Pumps is widespread. The same is true for pool heating.
What is behind this success? The main reason is the low operating costs. A heat pump is a system whereby the principle is to "capture" calories in the surrounding air in order to transfer them to the pool. Thus, if we need to transfer 10 kW to the pool, the Heat Pump will take 8 kW from the air and only use 2 kW of electricity: the ratio of 2 consumed for 10 produced is called the PR (Performance Ratio) = in this example the PR is 5.
In terms of consumption this means that we will only consume 20% of the energy needed to heat the pool.
The Heat Pump is by far the solution with the best PR... and therefore the lowest operating costs!
Heat Pumps are perfect for "seasonal use" as opposed to occasional use (weekends) because the time it take to raise the temperature is about 4 days.
Zodiac supplies you with the quietest heat pumps on the market.
Thanks to its SILENT mode and its modern and elegant design, the Z400 iQ it´s a discrete heat pump that fits any environments. Being possible to use it in small spaces thanks to its vertical air outlet (it only needs a free area footprint of 0.5 meters).
The "iAquaLink" app (iOS and Android) allows you to remotely set and consult your heat pump from your smartphone or tablet.
The most compact
The Zodiac Z200 is a pool heat pump that combines design and performance. With its optimally reduced size the Z200 provides a high-performance solution, occupying a minimum amount of space in your garden.
Guaranteed constant temperature
To heat your pool, the heat pump needs your filtration system to be in operation. Thanks to its "heating priority" feature, the Z200 controls when the filtration system comes on, thereby ensuring constant temperatures are maintained in all circumstances.
Suits most pools
Simple, reliable and economical, this heat pump is suitable for all pool types up to 70 m3. These heat pumps incorporate Zodiac® technology and offer a very high level of performance. Offering excellent value for money, this is the best solution for those seeking a simple, reliable and economical heat pump.
